“Reign of Blood has been around since 2006, and I have been a part of it for just as long (okay, since mid-2009, give or take), thus it's probably the only surviving point-and-click as well as text-based MMORPG game that I still play religiously to this day. RoB is mainly themed around vampires, sure, but it's also whatever your imagination dreams up.”

“Misfits, Outcasts and Wanders welcome! I hadn't know what was missing from my life until I stumbled upon a text based rpg called RoB. More than just daily routines and achievable goals, RoB became a place of creativity in both storytelling and graphic design. So, whether youre looking for community or self exploration, Reign Of Blood is a world of darkness just waiting to be discovered!”

“A game with a little bit of everything. Whether you seek to climb leaderboards, join or start a community or family, or just hang out this game has a bit of everything for you! You can take part in game wide competitions, show off your gorgeous profile, or do quests for sweet loot.”

“If you’re into stat builds, deep lore, and full-on roleplay, Reign of Blood is a blast. The build variety rewards tinkering and theorycrafting, the world’s lore is rich enough to sink into, and RP choices actually feel meaningful. Add in a steady drip of achievements to chase, and you’ve got a game that easily makes you lose your sense of time while playing. ”

“Very fun game. Site owner is still actively updating the game after all this time, no wonder there are so many long term players. As a newer player, the complexity of the game and variety of things to do can feel overwhelming, but I've been thoroughly enjoying always finding new things to do.”

“Being able to met new people who became some of my greatest friends and closest family members as well, Reign Of Blood became an escape from the real world. For example, I was able to improve my writing skill within a fun stable environment especially with the helpful knowledge from fellow players, who was able to help out! And with the battling aspect of the game, you could never get bored of...”

“If you are a fan of sandbox games and text based rpgs, i cannot recommend Reign Of Blood enough. You have the freedom to create your fun, whether you're a writer or roleplayer, a bloodthirsty warrior or merely intrigued by what this vampiric universe has to offer, it accommodates both the solitary and the community-driven bloodsucking folk!”

“The main gameplay is clicking to kill or search, but there are extensive ways to socialize and form groups with other players. You've got the public forum, billboards, statuses, the scribble wall, blog posts, and chats that are game-wide or specific to your house or coven. Throw in RP-motivated players and RP-friendly mechanics, and this clicky game is elevated from being a time sink to a place...”

“Reign Of Blood is such a uniquely intricate RPG world; it truly hasn’t been created anywhere else. The RoB universe is full of lore, quests, and adventures for users to explore. From increasing stats to battling other vampires or werewolves and joining active covens. It’s really cool to see the creator involved on the site as well. Truly the best RPG I’ve seen.”

“ It's an old community that welcomes newbloods with open arms - ready to teach and challenge in all aspects from the game, including conflict and prose with tons of rewards and rewarding interactions. Just be sure to lock your coffin when you go out!”
